Barbara Sezate – Business Administrator
Barbara, though born in Northern California, grew up in and around Oklahoma City. Because she had been blessed with a wonderfully loving Christian mother, she knew the love of God and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 11, four days before being orphaned.
As a single mom, Barbara attended college at night to earn her degree in Human Resource Management from Tulsa Community College in 1996 at 51 years old. Of note, at WABC graduating seniors recognition in 1996 were Steve and Karen White Sezate from OBU and Mom Sezate from TCC.
Prior to working at Woodland Acres, Barbara was in Human Resources as Employment Specialist/Employment Coordinator at Goodwill Industries, Willbros USA and OU-Tulsa. Her previous church work experience was at Southminster Prebyterian Church where she performed all office functions in a one-girl office.
God has been so gracious to Barbara and blessed her with the loves of her life – two sons, Steve and Bobby, two sweet daughters-in-law, Karen and Kara, and so far two precious grandchildren, Julianna and Parker (Hudson is due anytime!).
When Barbara isn’t working, she grabs precious time with her treasured family and enjoys time with close friends.
